One thousand rock musicians get up one morning, step outside, gather from all over Italy, and meet in Cesena, Italy, to play a Foo Fighters song together. This exciting one-time event started as a fantasy in the mind of Fabio Zaffagnini, who dreamed of convincing his favorite band to play a gig in his hometown, which never managed to draw in the big names. The fundraising, the search for musicians, and the rehearsals took a whole year, at the end of which Zaffagnini found himself at the top of a tower of scaffolding, in front of one thousand guitarists, drummers, and vocalists performing “Learn to Fly”. A closer look at the musicians reveals women, men, and even children, some of whom get to share their stories in this film. Naturally, the Foo Fighters could not stay indifferent to this. And Zaffagnini? Well…
